IN IT\u2019S 2ND EDITION THE NUMBER OF THOSE WHO WISH TO TAKE PART IN THE COMPETITION, THAT WILL BE HELD IN MARCH, HAS DOUBLED. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\"><a name=\"result_box1\"><\/a> Palma de Mallorca, February 6th 2018. After the success achieved in its first edition, the National Cookery Competition \u2018<a href=\"http:\/\/proturchef.com\/\">Protur Chef\u2019 <\/a>has become a key date in the national calendar of the most prestigious cooking schools, with eleven autonomous communities having requested to take part in this second edition.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\">On the 15th, 16<sup>th, <\/sup>17<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 18<sup>th<\/sup> of March , Sa Coma in the Balearic Islands, will become, for a few days, the gastronomic capital of the country, taking into account applicants &amp; technical staff. There will be a pre-selection of 18 participants using the criteria of quality &amp; presentation, among others.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\">The competition is aimed at culinary school students, in their second year or more, and is free. The three finalists are offered a paid internship at one of the Protur Hotels, as well as a cash prize and a free one-week stay for 2 people.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\"><a name=\"result_box4\"><\/a> The competition will be conducted by the prestigious local chef Tomeu Caldentey, the first Majorcan to be awarded a Michelin star at his restaurant Es Mol\u00ed den Bou.<br \/>\nMr. Caldentey has revealed that the contest will again enjoy the opinions of a luxury jury featuring well know chefs, with Michelin stars, and important food critics.<br \/>\nDuring four days, the facilities of the hotel Protur Biomar Gran Hotel &amp; Spa ***** in Sa Coma, Majorca, will offer a programme of workshops, talks &amp; activities that will be the thrill &amp; delight, and a date not to be missed, for all gastronomy lovers.<\/p>\n<p>Content edited with <a href=\"https:\/\/htmlg.com\/html-editor\/\" target=\"_blank\">the online HTML editor<\/a>.
