How time flies!
Today, we want to share a picture that fills us with nostalgia: a photo of the Protur Alicia Hotel from the 1990s. Looking at these images makes us realise just how quickly time passes, and seeing how the hotel has changed from its beginnings to the present day is truly exciting. It reminds us of the journey we have taken together.
For us, these images take us back to incredible moments that are part of our history, to unforgettable experiences shared by our guests – and by us alongside them – and to the early days of Protur Hotels as a hotel project.
The evolution of Cala Bona
And it is not only the hotel that has changed. As you can see in the images, Cala Bona has also undergone a remarkable transformation over the years. During the 1970s and 1980s, Cala Bona experienced a significant increase in tourism, which led to the opening of numerous hotels and restaurants in the area, including Protur Alicia Hotel, founded in 1985.
