At Protur Hotels, we are delighted to celebrate the recognition given by Mutua Balear to our Volunteer Programme, which has been awarded in the category of “Best Practices in Promoting Healthy Environments”. For us, this award goes far beyond recognition: it is a reminder that, when we truly get involved, we can make a positive impact on the world around us.
This project was born from a simple yet powerful idea: the desire of Grup Bauzá employees to get actively involved and do their bit wherever it was needed. From the very beginning, we chose to build closer relationships with social and environmental organisations, listening to them, understanding their needs and supporting them with commitment and respect.
Over time, our volunteering programme has grown naturally and steadily. Today, we have more than 60 volunteers, collaborate with 12 organisations and have reached more than 1,300 people. However, beyond the figures, we value what truly matters: the experiences we share, the conversations we have and everything we learn each time we dedicate our time to others.
Throughout this year, we have taken part in natural area clean-ups, supported food banks and shared moments of companionship at day centres and hospitals. Through these social and environmental initiatives, we continue working towards greater inclusion and a more conscious and empathetic way of understanding the world around us.
We firmly believe that every small gesture counts. This recognition fills us with emotion and, at the same time, inspires us to keep moving forward with the same enthusiasm, caring for both people and the environment we share.
